goal of the workshop : During an afternoon, take an existing game and deconstruct a mission to understand how it works. Make a team of 4 and showcase your research to the class at the end of the afternoon.
What I did : I studied the game Little Nightmares II (Tarsier Studio, 2021).

I took notes on the win and failure conditions,

I observed how other people played the game, what mistakes they made, if they understood the goal of the mission correctly.

I sketched an overview of the map where the mission takes place

I developed a cohesive walkthrough

I created an asset list of every element of the level for the Level Art Department
What I learned :

How to make my co-workers tasks easier by creating an effective assets list
